TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1. Reykjavik Centerhotel Plaza

Arrival to Keflavik airport. Transfer to the hotel in Reykjavik (optional)

Day 2. Farmlands and mountains of the North West

Breakfast. Visit the tunnel of Hvalfjördur and Skagafjördur, valley of horses; folk museum of Glaumbær (entrance included), an ancient farm with a turf roof. Arrival to the capital of north Iceland, Akureyri. Overnight and dinner at the hotel in Akureyri (2 nights’ accommodation).

Day 3 Lake Mývatn area

Breakfast. Mývatn is a shallow eutrophic lake in a dramatic landscape. Visit Jardbödin, the Blue lagoon of the North (entrance is not included). On the way back to Akureyri, enjoy the stop at Goðafoss Waterfall. Optional Whale Watching tour the afternoon.

Day 4. Powerful waterfall and East Iceland

Breakfast. Discover the most powerful waterfall in Europe, Dettifoss. Enjoy small fishing villages and magnificent mountains. Accommodation in Breiðdalsvík area.

Day 5. Fjords, Glacier and Glacier Lagoon

Breakfast. Visit the East Coast with many fjords and dramatic coastline, passing the villages Djúpivogur and Höfn. Discover Vatnajökull glacier, magnificent Jökulsarlón Glacier lagoon. Optional boat tour to the icebergs. Drive to Skaftafell National Park, an enchanting green oasis flourishing between surrounding glaciers. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 6. South Shore black beaches and lava fields

Breakfast. Discover Eldhraun, the largest mass of lava to have ever flowed on the earth with the famous black beach of Reynisfjara, known for its unusual rock formations. Enjoy fantastic Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls. Accommodation in Hotel Selfoss. Optional horseback riding tour in the evening.

Day 7. Golden Day

Breakfast. Discover Gullfoss, Golden waterfall; Strokkur hot springs and Þingvellir (Thingvellir) National Park.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1. Reykjavik

Arrival to Keflavik airport. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Reykjavik at the Hotel Klettur 3*.

Day 2. Golden Circle

Breakfast. Tour of Golden Circle, which includes famous Geysir hot spring area; Gullfoss (Golden) waterfall and Thingvellir national park, where the forces of the Great Atlantic Rift are clearly visible. Drive through magic landscapes of South Iceland to the Hotel Selfoss 4*. Enjoy a welcome drink and a short film introducing the Northern Lights. According to the weather, evening tour of Northern Light.

Day 3. Volcano and Waterfalls

Breakfast. Enjoy fascinating views of southern coast. Discover Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, glaciers and volcano of Eyjafjallajökull; Lava Centre, which high-tech educational exhibition depicting volcano activity, earthquakes and creation of Iceland over millions of years. Accommodation in Hotel Selfoss. Enjoy the hotel Riverside SPA which includes a steam room, sauna, hot pool, rainwater showers, relaxation room, lounge and bar.

Day 4. Blue Lagoon and Reykjavik City tour

Breakfast. Drive though south coast to Reykjanes peninsula.

Day 2

After breakfast free time to explore city.

Northern Lights Mystery tour.

Departure: 07:00pm/08:00pm/09:00pm

Discover a dark winter night to experience one of nature’s most spectacular displays, when the Northern lights dance across the sky in dramatic shapes and colors. Northern lights are most frequently seen around the North Pole, within an oval shaped region drawn around the Northern hemisphere called the “auroral oval.” Iceland lies within this most active region meaning that the Northern lights are potentially visible from every place in Iceland.

Day 3

After breakfast Golden Circle Classic tour.

Departure: 8:30 am.

This popular route should not be missed on your Icelandic vacation. Visit Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Gullfoss waterfall as well as the famous Geyser geothermal area during this coach tour.

Day 4

After breakfast visit The Blue Lagoon.

Departure: 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00 am, 01:00pm, 04:00pm, 06:00pm.

Enjoy a peaceful time at the Blue Lagoon, an incredible geothermal spa, set in an otherworldly area where lava and thermal water meet and complement each other. (Round-trip transfer)

Day 5

After breakfast transfer from the hotel in Reykjavik to Keflavik International Airport. Flight back home.
