Day 1  Zagreb

Arrival at Zagreb airport and transfer to a hotel.

Day 2 Zagreb – Samobor

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, you will meet with your local guide at the hotel lobby and start with a panoramic tour by bus where you will see the most important sites in Zagreb. This panoramic tour will end in front of the Cathedral where you continue your city tour on foot. In the afternoon you will drive up to Samobor, a small town near Zagreb. Free time for coffee and to try the famous “kremšnita”.

Day 3 Zagreb – Plitvice Lakes area

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards Plitvice Lakes National Park. Visit of Plitvice Lakes with a tour guide. Continue towards Rastoke.

Day 1 Trogir

Arrival at Split airport and transfer to a hotel.

Day 2  Trogir – Split – Zadar

DAY 3, ZAGREB – PLITVICE – SPLIT

DAY 5, TROGIR – DUBROVNIK

After breakfast we leave Split and continue towards Trogir. The city tour will include a visit to Trogir Cathedral. Some time at leisure and afterwards departure towards the south Croatian coast, passing Makarska Riviera.

DAY 6, DUBROVNIK 

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from the hotel towards Old town where we meet our local guide and see the most important monuments of this city known as “The Pearl of Adriatic”. TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 – Sat: Split

Our cruise conveniently embarks in Split, the largest Dalmatian city. The M/S Captain Bota will be docked in the main Split harbor and the cabins will be at your disposal starting from 1:00 pm. Please feel free to leave your luggage on board in case of your earlier arrival. Meet your fellow passengers, the Captain and our friendly crew over welcome reception followed by dinner at 7:30 pm. A dinner will be also served to the guests arriving with late evening flights. Overnight stay in Split. [D]

Day 2 – Sun: Split, Bol (Brac Island), Hvar

We start our day with the morning departure towards Bol situated on Brac Island. Bol is well known for its pebbled beach called Zlatni Rat, claimed to be the most beautiful beach on the Croatian coast. Immerse yourself in a bath of sun and sea water or explore the town of Bol before lunch and continuation of our journey to Hvar where we will arrive in the late afternoon/early evening hours. Experience the enchanting town of Hvar situated on the island of the same name. Hvar is claimed to be the most popular Croatian island which you may realize while feeling the vibe of its bustling promenade, well-appointed cafes, wine stores, shops and restaurants. Join an evening walking tour to learn on the history and heritage of Hvar followed by presentation of centuries long lavender farming tradition. Overnight stay in Hvar. [B/L]

Day 3 – Mon: Hvar, Korcula

Enjoy another tranquil and relaxing day as we smoothly glide towards Korcula Island having a swim break en route. In the late afternoon we arrive in the town of Korcula. You will find yourself in front of the town walls and the historic town gate, a reminder of glory and power of this little medieval place. It is just down the street that the famous traveler Marco Polo was born in 1254 coming from a noble family of Korcula town. You can savor all the uniqueness of Korcula by strolling its cobbled, narrow and shady lanes where you will find handcraft stores and shops with jewelry made from local coral germs. Learn about Korcula during our walking tour, enjoy rest of the evening in a laid-back atmosphere of this jewel town and find a restaurant at your choice. Overnight stay in Korcula. [B/L]

Day 4 – Tue: Korcula, Dubrovnik

Today we sail along the shores of Mljet and Elaphiti islands where we will have a swim stop and lunch before an afternoon arrival in Dubrovnik. Meet our tour guide and board a coach to begin the city tour of Dubrovnik. Enjoy a panoramic drive offering a breathtaking scenery from a hill above Dubrovnik. We will then arrive in the Old Town Dubrovnik, the famous city enlisted as UNESCO’s World Heritage site. After the city tour enjoy Dubrovnik on your own pace by exploring additional attractions such as City Walls or take a cable car ride to the hill of Srdj. The return coach transfer is scheduled in the evening hours. You may also choose to return to the ship on your own. Overnight stay in Dubrovnik. [B/L]

Day 5 – Wed: Dubrovnik, Elephiti Islands, Mlejet Island

After breakfast we set sails for Mljet National park enjoying again the magnificent shores of the Elaphiti Islands, situated northwest from Dubrovnik. This will be another great opportunity to dip yourself in the crystal Adriatic or just relax on board. Lunch will be served during our sailing to Mljet. Explore the National park in the afternoon hours strolling around the Great and Small Lake and take a local boat ride to the Islet of St. Mary to visit the 12th century Benedictine Monastery. Overnight stay on Mljet Island. [B/L]

Day 6 – Thu: Mlejet, Makarska

Our sailing continues towards Makarska. We glide along the picturesque Peljesac Peninsula covered with olive groves, vineyards and pine forests. Upon refreshing swim stop enjoy lunch on board before an afternoon arrival in Makarska, a bustling regular jaunt for travelers. You will have a free evening to explore numerous restaurants, cafes and shops of the center of Makarska Riviera. Overnight stay in Makarska. [B/L]

Day 7 – Fri: Makarska, Pucisca (Brac Island), Split

Upon crossing the Brac Channel we reach the largest coastal village on Brac Island called – Pucisca. Shiny and white stone facades rising amphitheatrically uphill make this place so unique and famous for its quarries from which stone was excavated to build limestone columns of the White House in Washington DC, The Parliament House in Vienna and many other famous buildings all over the world. Pucisca is also known for Stonemasonry School where students learn to carve local limestone with traditional and unconventional tools that have been used for centuries. In the afternoon hours we will return in Split. In 1700-year-old the historic core of Split inscribed under UNESCO World Heritage – and within a short walk distance from our ship- stands the massive Palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, dating back to the 3rd A.D. In the course of time the Old Town of Split developed inside and around the Palace which included three Roman temples and a massive mausoleum. Join us for a walking tour and explore with our tour guide some of the numerous archaeological, historic and cultural sites of Split. Find your favorite restaurant for dinner, have a sip of wine or latte in one of many cafes on the pedestrian promenade called Riva and explore numerous shops in the city center. Day 8 – Sat: Split, USA

Day 4, Split – Trogir – Split

Breakfast at the hotel. During the morning we will visit Trogir after some free time to enjoy Trogir and after it we will go back to Split. Arrival in Split and city tour with a local guide. Day 5, Split – Makarska – Mostar

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure towards Bosnia and Herzegovina. On our way we shall stop at small coastline city of Makarska after some free time departure towards Herzegovina and it’s most important city, city of Mostar. arrival and overnight at the hotel in Mostar. (b)

Day 6, Mostar – Medjugorje – Dubrovnik

After breakfast city tour of Mostar with the local guide. we will visit a typical Turkish house and we will of course see the symbol of Mostar the old bridge. After the visit free time for lunch (not included).

After the breakfast we will leave Dubrovnik and continue north to Drvenik. Small port where we will board a ferry and cruise to Sucuraj, port at the south of the island of Hvar. We continue crossing the whole island up to the city of Hvar. The second largest Croatian city on the islands, arrival and overnight. (b)

Day 10, Hvar – Zadar

Embark a ferry and cruise to split (approx. 01h45). Continue towards Zadar. Arrival. City tour of Zadar with the local guide. Check in and overnight at the hotel in Zadar. (b)

Day 11, Zadar – Plitvice -Zagreb

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we leave Zadar to go visit the National Park of the Plitvice lakes. Arrival and visit the park. After the visit proceed to Zagreb and overnight at the hotel. (b,)

Day 12, Zagreb – Ljubljana

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we go to Croatian capital and its largest city, Zagreb.

Upon the arrival we will take our local guide and do a panorama tour by bus where will see the most important Zagreb’s sites. This panorama tour will end in the front of the Cathedral where we will continue our city tour by walk. This part of the city tour will include the upper town with St. Mark’s church, the most important governmental buildings – the parliament, the government palace. After the upper town we will continue and see the green market Dolac and the main central square of Ban Jelacic. After the visit proceed to Ljubljana. Visit of Ljubljana. Overnight at the hotel. (b)

Day 13, Ljubljana – Bled – Ljubljana

Day 14, Ljubljana – Postojna – Venice Mestre

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure toward Italy, but our first stop is Postojna where we will visit the best-known cave in the world and the world’s largest karst monuments the Postojna Cave. DAY 1    DUBROVNIK

Arrival in Dubrovnik. Transfer from airport Dubrovnik to hotel in Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik also know as the “pearl of the Adriatic” and is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site since 1979. Today Dubrovnik is the proudest feather in Croatia’s tourist cap, an elite destination and one of the most beautiful towns in the Mediterranean. The old city is encompassed by medieval walls, which have been preserved in their original form and opened for visitors as Dubrovnik’s major attraction. DAY 2    DUBROVNIK – KORCULA

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the Dubrovnik port. Embarkation to the catamaran/ferry for Korcula.  The old town Korcula is grooved with a succession of narrow streets that branch off the spine of the main street like the fish bone. The architecture in the old town is mainly influenced by Venetian renaissance. The old town center is dominated by the splendid St. Mark’s Cathedral built in the gothic-renaissance style, completed in 15th century at the place of other church from 13th century. There is a local legged that Marko Polo was born in Korcula town and Marko Polo’s house of birth is worth visiting. The house is under the protection of the Korcula town hall and it will soon be turned into a museum of Marko Polo. Overnight in Korcula.

DAY 4    KORCULA – HVAR

Breakfast at the hotel and departure with the catamaran/ferry from Korcula to Hvar. The town of Hvar, on the honey moon island, is the oldest tourist center of Dalmatia, rich in historical monuments and interesting for the visitor.  a visit to the 16th-century theater, the 13th-century Arsenal, or the central town square with the Cathedral, surrounded by numerous palaces built in different architectural styles, all of it only completing the picture. The Franciscan Monastery in the town is known for its collection of works of old masters, including the “last supper” by Ingoli. Overnight in Hvar.

DAY 5    HVAR

DAY 6    HVAR – BOL

Breakfast at hotel and transfer from Hvar to Jelsa to take a catamaran from Jelsa to Bol on Brac island. Bol is town on the south coast of the island of Brac, popular Croatian holiday destination. The biggest attraction in Bol is beach Zlatni rat (golden cape), pebble beach that stretches itself 500 meters into the sea and changes direction of its top influenced with strong sea currents. In Bol and surrounding area, you will find many other beaches, as well as private coves. Island of Brac is characterized by very favorable climate, mild, mostly moist winters and dry, hot and sunny summers. Local and seasonal winds also help maintain favorable climate. Local wind from the west makes life easier in hot summer days, and makes Bol a paradise for surfers. Overnight in Bol

DAY 7    BOL

DAY 8    BOL – SPLIT

Breakfast at the hotel and departure with the catamaran from Bol to Split. On arrival in Split transfer to your hotel.  Split is a town of ancient history, built and preserved over the course of 1700 years by its loving inhabitants. We will do walking tour in Diocletian Palace, the most precious monument in the city. Diocletian palace is one of the most significant original structures of the late ancient architecture, a kind of an imperial palace that was enlisted in UNESCO’s world heritage.  Overnight in Split.

DAY 9    SPLIT – DEPARTURE
