TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1 Frankfurt
Arrival at Frankfurt airport and transfer to your hotel. Private tour of Frankfurt with a driver-guide (2.5 hrs). Visit the beautifully restored Römerberg, on the shore of the Main river. Visit the city’s museums, the quaint “Fressgass” alley, the old Opera and the elegant Goethestrasse street. Other highlights include the former residence of Goethe, the Paulus Church and wonderful city views from the Hauptwache.
Day 2 Frankfurt – Cologne
Transfer to the train station where you board a train for Cologne (travel time: 1:10 hrs). Arrival in Cologne and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon you enjoy a private 2-hour walking tour of the city. The great metropolis on the Rhine River, Cologne is the fourth largest city in Germany in terms of population and has a great tradition of art and history. The spires of the Gothic cathedral dominate the skyline of this old German city filled with numerous art treasures, lovely museums and a rich cultural agenda.
Day 3 Cologne – Hamburg
Transfer to the train station where you board a train for Hamburg (travel time: 4 hours). Arrival in Hamburg and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon you enjoy a private 2-hour walking tour of the city. Visit this historical warehouse region, the largest in the world; also explore the district of St. Pauli, better known as the ‘sinful mile‘, the Baroque church of St. Michaelis, nicknamed ‘Michel‘, and the Alster.
Day 4 Hamburg – Berlin
Transfer to the train station where you board a train for Berlin (travel time: 1:40 hrs). Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Free time.
Day 5 Berlin
Today you enjoy a regular city tour. You may start, finish, or pause this tour at any of the 18 different stops around the city. Discover the city at your own pace. If you prefer, you may also remain on the bus and complete the entire city tour in 2 hours.
Day 6 Berlin – Dresden
Transfer to the train station where you board a train for Dresden (travel time: 2:10 hrs). Arrival in Dresden and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon you enjoy a private 2-hour walking tour of the city. Dresden is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. Visit the recently restored Frauenkirche church, the famous Dresden Opera House, the Imperial Zwinger palace and enjoy a stroll along the Elbe River.
Day 7 Dresden – Frankfurt
Transfer to the train station where you board a train for Frankfurt (travel time: 5:20 hours). The tour concludes with your arrival at the Frankfurt train station or at Frankfurt Airport.

TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1 Frankfurt
Arrival at Frankfurt airport and transfer to the hotel. Private tour of Frankfurt with driverguide (2.5 hours). Explore the city and visit the beautifully restored neighborhood of Römerberg on the banks of the Main river and the lovely museums along the shore. Also explore the Fressgass street, the old Opera and the elegant Goethestrasse. The tour also includes a visit to Goethe’s house, St. Paul’s church and the Hauptwache for a fabulous view of the city.
Day 2 Frankfurt – Nuremberg
Transfer to the train station where you will board a train to Nuremberg (travel time: 2:05 hours). Arrival in Nuremberg and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon enjoy a 2-hour private walking tour of the historic city center.
Day 3 Nuremberg – Munich
Transfer to the train station where you will board a train to Munich (travel time: 1:20 hours.). Arrival in Munich and transfer to your hotel. The afternoon is free to spend at your leisure.
Day 4 Munich
Visit Munich by hop on/hop off tourist bus. You may disembark at any of the stops and visit the attractions of your choice. Then board the bus and continue to the next place of interest. Stops include the Pinacoteca, Odeon square, the National Theatre, Max Joseph Platz, Marienplatz, the City Hall, the Frauenkirche church and the Viktualienmarkt street market.
Day 5 Munich – Neuschwanstein – Munich
Join a regular excursion to visit the most famous castle in Germany, Neuschwanstein. The castle was built by Ludwig II, who was also known as the Mad King because of his unique personality and eccentricities. The Bavarian king commissioned the construction between 1869 and 1886. He wanted it to resemble the medieval castles of the German knights combined with a neo-romantic style. This castle served as the inspiration for Walt Disney when he created the castle of Sleeping Beauty in Disneyland. Return to Munich in the afternoon.
Day 6 Munich – Stuttgart
After breakfast transfer to the train station to board a train to Stuttgart (travel time: 2:15 hours). Arrival and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon enjoy a tour of the city that is well known for famous car models such as Mercedes Benz and Porsche.
Day 7 Stuttgart – Frankfurt
After breakfast transfer to the train station to board a train to Frankfurt (travel time: 1:35 hours). The tour will conclude in the city of Frankfurt or at Frankfurt Airport.
