TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1. Barcelona

Arrival in Barcelona. Dinner. Walking tour of the Gothic Quarter. Free time.

 Transfer by fast train to Madrid about at 20:00 .

Over-night stay.

Day 2. Madrid – Toledo

Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Madrid.  Excursion to Toledo, the former capital of Spain. Transfer to Extremadura. Overnight in the area of Merida.

Day 3. Evora – Lisbon

Breakfast. Transit to Portugal with a stop and a tour of Evora, the capital of the province of Alentejo: the temple of Diana, Piaz-za Geralda, the Cathedral of Seu, Renaissance-style buildings, the famous Chapel of Bones.

Transfer to Lisbon. Dinner.

Over-night stay.

Day 4. Lisbon

Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Lisbon: areas of Baixa, Rosiu, Al-fama, Castle of St. George; Seu Cathedral, Jerome Monastery, Belem Tower, Monument to the Discoverers.

Day 5. Fatima – Porto

Breakfast. Transfer to Porto with a short stop in Fatima, one of the most important pilgrimage centers of the Catholic Church, the site of the miraculous appearance of the Virgin and interes-ting divination. Sightseeing tour of Porto, the second most im-portant city of Portugal, located on the banks of the Douro River: 12th century cathedral, Ribeira district, Clerigos tower, bridges and churches, Ferreira wine cellars. Dinner. Overnight stay.

Day 6. Porto – Salamanca

Breakfast. Transfer to Spain. A tour of Salamanca, where the ol-dest university in Spain is located, on the benches of which Cer-vantes sat. Lope de Vega, Calderon. A walk through the historic center with a tour of the Roman bridge, House with shells and majestic Renaissance palaces. Dinner. Overnight stay.

Day 7. Avila – Segovia

Breakfast. Excursion to Avila, the city of St. Theresa, surrounded by ancient Roman walls, keeping calm of many monasteries and churches. Excursion to Segovia with a tour of the Cathedral, the Aqueduct and the Alcazar Castle, the prototype of the Cinde-rella Castle in Disneyland, where Isabella of Castile entered the throne.

Day 9: Vienna

Vienna sightseeing tour  3 h 

Vienna is the tradition-rich residence of emperors. At the same time, it is a city with modern architecture. A trip through Vienna will introduce you to the imperial city, palaces and parks with a magnificent Ring and beautiful churches. This tour includes the most important sights of Vienna, located outside the ring and on the Ringstrasse: Maria Theresa Square, the museum quarter, Vienna Opera, the dynasty winter residence Habsburgs (Hofburg), Parliament and Town Hall.

You will also visit the former summer residence of the Habsburgs – Schönbrunn, with its beautiful palace and park. It also houses the oldest zoo in Europe. Day 10: Vienna

Vienna Woods 4 h 

The Vienna Forest is located in the vicinity of the capital, in the foothills of the Alps – it is a whole forest area with its own cities and hotels, resorts and thermal springs. The Vienna Woods is a favorite vacation spot for crowns and visitors.

During this tour you will see: Liechtenstein Castle, the largest underground lake in Europe, where you can take a boat ride, as well as visit the 12th century Cistercian Monastery of the Holy Cross and Mayerling, where there is a hunting lodge, notorious for the double suicide of Crown Prince Rudolph and his lover.

After that, our tour continues to Baden.

Baden is an unusually green city. Surrounded by Vienna woods and vineyards. Here is the spa park in which stands a monument to composers Strauss and Lanner, as well as a gazebo “Beethoven’s temple” and a floral clock. For active and gambling – the casino, the largest in Austria. Baden is famous for its thermal spa with hot sulfur springs. Especially fashionable was the resort under the Empress Maria Theresa. Today you will find quiet side streets with houses and forks, cozy cafes and restaurants where you can taste national cuisine and young Austrian wine. (4 hours)

From Vienna: Day Tour of Salzburg

Drive through the stunning natural beauty of the Salzkammergut region on this day trip from Vienna to Salzburg. Uncover historical sites on a guided walking tour of the Salzburg Old Town. Take pictures of some film locations from the hit film “The Sound of Music.”

Be picked up from the centrally-located Vienna State Opera house and relax aboard a spacious and air-conditioned coach on the ride through the countryside. Take in views of mountains and lakes as you pass through the UNESCO-listed Salzkammergut region.
